I absolutely dearest the agency it turned out.

This affair was a full ugly duckling at first. And this 'before' icon does it agency to a greater extent than judge than it deserves. It was a dirty, smoky, beaten up, rickety onetime dresser.
It took a lot of function to transform this dresser into such a babe, but it was good worth it!
Here's how I did it:
#1. I took out the drawers together with removed the handles.
#2. Sanded the whole affair downward alongside my trusty sander.
#3. Coated the whole affair alongside Zinsser Primer. (See why y'all should prime number showtime here.)
#4. Painted the drawers & frame alongside two coats of Behr Premium 'Creamy White' that I converted into chalk paint. If y'all role chalk paint, y'all tin genuinely skip the sanding together with priming part, but I wanted this dresser to endure genuinely durable thence I did it anyways.
#5. Once the pigment was thoroughly dry, I seat the drawers dorsum inward together with screwed inward the hardware. Then I finished the whole affair alongside Minwax Finishing Wax (Amazon Affiliate link). All y'all practise is rub some of it on the slice of furniture alongside a rag together with and then buff it out. It buffs out to a beautiful finish, together with makes painted slice of furniture expect fabulous.

I unremarkably modify out the hardware when I redo furniture, but the hardware on this slice was pretty, thence I simply left it alone.
My favorite tip is to pigment the insides of your drawers. It looks beautiful together with it gets rid of whatever smells or stains.
I'm totally hooked on icon the insides of drawers now. Best upgrade to an onetime dresser ever!
